Established: November 1, 2007

February 2025 Meeting Minutes

Bernie donated a 2023 Australia Kookaburra silver coin for the evening raffle.  The earnings would go to the New Salem Church in Ohioville.  The church, built around 1850, recently burned in a devastating fire.  The church was founded in 1797.  During the meeting, the club raised $330 ($230 from the raffle and $100 additional from the club).

The club wished congratulations to Becca & James Onuska, who have a baby due in July.

Tonya O recently had shoulder surgery.  Please keep her in your thoughts/prayers.

Rich Kane recently had back surgery – please keep in thoughts and prayers.

BCDC Hunts
Toby confirmed that we are approved for May 17 (Sprint) and Sept 27 (Fall) hunts at Green Valley Park.

Spring hunt discussion
There was a discussion about the number of targets for the hunt.  General decision to keep the same amount/number of targets.
Decision to keep competition hunt the same.
Club is looking for baskets for the sprint hunt.
The club is also looking for donations for kid’s hunt.
Generally, everyone is good with the hunts that have been a part of the event.
