THE PREZ SEZ

Brrrrr!  After the weather of the past few days, I’m not so sure that Global Warming is such a real threat.  I now feel that perhaps what is occurring is a melting of the Ice Caps so they can more readily move here and refreeze.  It was minus 12 degrees here at 8:00 Friday morning and by noon it still had not gotten above “0”.  That was bad enough, but then Saturday morning it was down to minus 15 degrees.  I’d like to get out and do some detecting but I sure don’t care to freeze my Ace 250.

I’ve heard it said that it’s always darkest before the dawn so perhaps we will be blessed with an early spring.  I certainly hope so, especially with the plans that have already been made for our club this year.

We really have a great group of folks in BCDC

and with that advantage we’ll no doubt come up with some truly great ideas as to places to hold our Brown Bag Hunts and other fun and memorable outings.

I’ll close with those warm thoughts and hopefully see everyone at the next meeting on February 5th.  That’s 3 days after Groundhog Day, 9 days before Valentines Day, and just 31 days before Daylight Savings Time begins.

Till then be safe,

keep warm,

stay healthy

And May God Bless Us All.

 RED CRAFT---President BCDC

I am trying to accumulate a list of the clubs that have hunts. So far I have only two replies and they do not seem to interfere with our schedule.
