The PREZ SEZ

Since this is my last article to appear in the BCDC Newsletter under the heading above and since it is near Thanksgiving Day, I feel it would be fitting to give “Thanks”.

Thank you God for this beautiful place to live, love and share the fun and adventures that are afforded us all for just being here.  Thanks Father, for all the friends and loved ones in our lives and for all the fun and happy times we spend together.

Thanks for the Freedoms we enjoy in this Great Nation and for all those who are willing to sacrifice for those Freedoms.  Bless and protect them Father, for theirs is a task not to be taken lightly.

Thanks to all of you for having me as the “Prez” of our great club and for all your help in making it such a great club.  You guys and gals are all “TOPS” in my book.  Thank you, one and all.

I hope you all have a truly wonderful Thanksgiving and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy, Loving, Prosperous, Fun and Joyous New Year.  May God Bless us all.

RED CRAFT----President, BCDC

End of another year.

Here we are coming up to December.

We had many good times and a few sad days also. We lost Bob Hromika our good friend, who was a Charter Member and a major asset to our club.

There were several fine Brown bag hunts and two good seeded hunts. As we continue to grow we are discovering that we seem to be a closely knit club of treasure hunters that seem to enjoy going detecting as a group to different places.

Even if we find nothing but junk, the friendships that come with these outings is the real treasure we are looking for.

We have to recognize that our initial President Red Craft, the officers and members did a great job of moving our club forward without any previous experience, but just a desire to have a club in our part of PA.

December the 3rd will be our 3rd annual Christmas party at the Penn Bistro. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there. We will meet at 6:30pm with dinner starting promptly “  8^) “ at 7:00pm.

The menu will be the same as last year

 1.  Ham Slices, Sweet Potato Soufflé

2.  Beef Pot Roast, Red Skin Potatoes

3.  Baked Herbal Chicken, Vegetable Medley

Included:  Salad, Rolls, Small Cookie Tray and Assorted Drinks

COST:  Only $15.00 per person and this includes tax and gratuity.

Be sure to let Red know by the 29th if you are attending and how many are in your party.

Remember if you want to enter the gift exchange you must bring a gift to get a gift.

We will see you all there for fun, games and friendship.
